More disadvantages to the issue including more facts on why it is such a negative delima.

One con is that the tropical plants are very important in keeping nutritional varieties of food or crops for human life and when you cut down the trees you cut down on not only our food supply, but the animals food supply. Rainforest Destruction can increase the risk for flooding, soil erosion, and the spread of diseases. Rainforests once covered about 14% of the Earth and now only cover 6% because of destruction. It is estimated that if deforestation continues at this rate, all of the rainforests will be consumed in less than 40 years.
